Independence Trail Clean-Up Day

Bear Yuba Land Trust and Sequoya Challenge
invite you to join us
on the South Yuba Independence Trail
for a Pre-Winter Clean-up Day

   Saturday, December 3rd from 9:00am to 12:00 noon

   Meet at the Trailhead and we'll divide into groups to rake leaves and debris out of the drains and
   ditch as well as clear them off the wooden flumes on both the East and West sections of the Trail.

   What to Bring:  Rake or Broom, Work Gloves, Tarp (optional), Water and Snack

   Parking: Parking is limited at the trailhead so if you are able to climb stairs, please park around the
   corner from the main entrance and head up to the trail from there. Or better yet, if you'd like to
   carpool we'll be meeting at the far corner parking area (by Cement Hill Road) of the Rood Center in
   Nevada City at 8:30am to share rides.

   Weather:  In the event of rain or snow, the event will be canceled.
